RECEDING HAIRLINE
Hair · for men

Your hairline is
receding.

Androgenetic alopecia will not stop on its own and will not be reversed by a shampoo. It can be slowed down and partly reversed — but only if you start before the follicles are gone. Below is what we do, and what we do not promise.

Number of sessions
4–6

An initial course. Then maintenance every few months.

Treatment time
20–40 min

Depending on the method and the area.

Back to work
Straight away

No dressing. After injections, small marks are possible for a few hours.

First results
3–6 months

Hair grows slowly — before then there is nothing to assess.

Ranges from our own practice. We agree the real plan after examining your scalp — where follicle loss is advanced, none of these methods will bring the hair back. Results are individual.

01 — Continuity of therapyPhotographs and settings from every visit in one treatment record

Hair therapy is a course,
not a single treatment.

Assessing the result means comparing the same area months apart — and memory is a poor reference point here. That is why we take follow-up photographs in the same frame and the same light, and every previous visit, together with the settings used, is recorded in your treatment record.

This means every session continues from the last, even if the person looking after you changes during the course. Continuity comes from the records, not from the rota.

02 — What makes it differentMale hair loss follows its own course

Progressive, not episodic
— and that is why timing matters.

01

It affects most men

Androgenetic alopecia affects up to 80% of men by the age of 80. It is neither a rare condition nor the result of neglect — it is the most common form of hair loss in men.

PMID 32066284
02

Earlier treatment gives a better outcome

The earlier treatment starts, the better the result — because we are working on follicles that still exist. A review of 64 randomised trials reports improvement of up to 68.4% depending on the method and the starting point.

PMID 32066284 · 38886861
03

A treatment does not replace drug therapy

In a randomised trial in 64 men platelet-rich plasma produced a 38% response rate against 56% for minoxidil, with a higher rate of adverse effects (53% vs 37%) and lower satisfaction. That is why we treat plasma as part of combination therapy, not as a substitute for treatment.

PMID 36800229
The last point is commercially inconvenient and we leave it in deliberately — telling you what a method does not do is as much part of an honest conversation as telling you what it does.
03 — MethodsWhat exactly we offer

Three methods,
usually combined.

Laser Fotona HairRestoration

Laser stimulation of the scalp. No needles and no time out of your day. Used as part of a course, not as a stand-alone therapy.

650 zł — 1 treatment
1 650 zł — 3 treatments (550 zł per treatment)

Dr. Cyj peptide preparation

Sustained-release peptide injections into the scalp. Performed by a doctor.

800 zł — per treatment

Scalp mesotherapy

RRS XL Hair / HairCare / Hair+ CROMA. Optionally with scalp carboxytherapy.

600 zł — per treatment
+ 200 zł — scalp carboxytherapy

Microneedling with mesotherapy — what the research says

A retrospective study in 63 patients compared four protocols of microneedling combined with mesotherapy in androgenetic alopecia (PMID 42394743, 2026). This study was retrospective, not randomised — it shows a comparison of protocols; it does not prove that the method is superior to standard treatment.

We state the study type deliberately. A retrospective comparison and a randomised trial do not carry the same weight of evidence.

04 — The processWhat happens from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave

If you are still hesitating
— this section is for you.

Scalp assessment

We look at the pattern of hair loss and take baseline photographs in a fixed frame. We ask about medication, thyroid conditions and family history.

The plan and your decision

You get the plan in writing: which methods, how many sessions, the total cost and when we assess the result. You make your decision after you leave, not in the chair.

A course of treatments

4–6 sessions at agreed intervals. With the laser you feel nothing beyond warmth; injections involve brief discomfort.

Review after 3–6 months

A follow-up photograph in the same frame. If there is no improvement, we say so plainly and either change the approach or refer you on.

05 — Risks and limitsWhat these treatments will not do

There is a limit here
and we do not pretend otherwise.

We cannot recreate hair where the follicle has already gone. With advanced hair loss at the crown, the realistic option is a transplant rather than stimulation. If that is our assessment, we say so at the consultation.
The treatments do not halt the androgenetic process. Without maintenance treatment the hair loss carries on — the result of a course fades over time.
After injections small bruises under the skin, scalp tenderness and short-lived pain for a few hours are possible. Rarely — infection at the injection site. Sterile technique lowers the risk, it does not eliminate it.
Sudden hair loss is not androgenetic alopecia. If hair has come out in a short time, in handfuls, or patches have appeared — diagnostic tests come first, and only then any treatment.
06 — EvidenceWhat we base these statements on
Epidemiology

Scale and the moment you start

Androgenetic alopecia affects up to 80% of men by the age of 80; starting treatment earlier is associated with a better outcome.

PMID 32066284
Review of 64 RCTs

Effectiveness of the methods

A review of 64 randomised trials — improvement of up to 68.4% depending on the method and the starting point.

PMID 38886861
RCT · negative finding

Plasma vs minoxidil

64 men: plasma 38% response vs minoxidil 56% (p=0.124), more adverse effects with plasma (53% vs 37%).

PMID 36800229
The works cited describe the methods, not our own results. Results are individual. We also publish a finding that is unfavourable to what we offer — a complete picture of the evidence is the basis for an informed decision.
07 — Discretion and logisticsThe practicalities

A closed treatment room

The consultation and the treatment take place in a room with the door closed. Photographs stay in your records and nowhere else.

Off-peak hours

The times most men here choose are 10:00–11:00 and 20:00. At 20:00 men account for 9.4% of appointments against 2.3% for women — it is the calmest time of day. Data from the Świętokrzyska schedule, June–August 2026. Gender estimated from first names — the clinic does not record gender.

08 — QuestionsWhat men actually ask

FAQ

Will anyone be able to tell I have had something done?

After the laser there are no marks. After injections there may be small puncture points and scalp tenderness for a few hours — practically invisible under the hair. There is no stage at which it looks worse than before.

When will I see a result?

Realistically after 3–6 months, because that is how long the hair growth cycle takes. Assessing it sooner makes no sense. That is why we take a baseline photograph — after six months, memory is a poor reference point.

What can go wrong?

After injections, small bruises under the skin, tenderness and short-lived pain are possible, and rarely an infection at the injection site. The biggest real risk, however, is no result at all if you start too late — which is why we assess the scalp before a package is sold, not after.

How much does the whole therapy cost?

It depends on the combination of methods. Fotona laser: 1 650 zł for three treatments. Dr. Cyj peptide preparation: 800 zł per treatment. Mesotherapy: 600 zł, or 800 zł with carboxytherapy. You receive the cost of the full course in writing after the consultation — before you decide, not after.

Will this replace tablets or minoxidil?

No. In a randomised trial in 64 men, plasma performed less well than minoxidil and caused more adverse effects. We treat these procedures as an addition to treatment, or as an option for people for whom drug therapy has not worked — not as a substitute.

Is it already too late?

It depends on whether the follicles are still there. Where you can see the hair miniaturising, there is something to work with. Where the skin has been smooth for years, stimulation has nothing to act on and it is more honest to refer you for a transplant.

Is it done differently in men than in women?

Yes. Male androgenetic alopecia follows a different pattern — a receding hairline and the crown rather than diffuse thinning — and a different course: progressive rather than episodic. That changes both the treatment area and the moment at which it is worth starting.

Do I have to phone to book?

No. You book your consultation online, separately for Świętokrzyska and separately for Mokotów.
