HIEMT is a technology used in physiotherapy and body-contouring treatments. The HIEMT device has two applicators with the highest intensity on the market — 7 Tesla. The electromagnetic field generated by the applicators passes non-invasively through clothing, skin and fatty tissue and acts on the motor neuron in the muscle, which then triggers supramaximal muscle contractions. Before the session, a detailed medical history review is carried out to rule out any contraindications. The treatment then begins: the patient lies down and the applicators are placed on the treatment area. The session lasts 40 minuteses, during which the muscles contract around 20,000 times. It is intense but not painful — most patients compare the sensation to an intense workout. No recovery time is required.
