Laser facelift FOTONA 4D™

Fotona 4D is the world's only laser facial endolifting treatment. It is an innovative laser therapy that uses the synergistic action of two laser beams: Er:Yag and Nd:Yag. Fotona 4D consists of 4 non-invasive procedures applied both to the outer layers of the skin and to the mucosa of the oral cavity (endolifting). Combining the two lasers across the 4 stages of the laser facelift delivers full collagen renewal and fills the nasolabial folds after just one treatment.

FOTONA 4D is an innovative method that combines 4 stages of laser lifting:

I. EndoLifting™ SMOOTH - internal laser therapy on the mucosa of the oral cavity

II. Frac3™ - non-ablative laser photorejuvenation of facial skin

III. PIANO™ - laser thermolifting of the skin

IV. SupErfacial™ - a laser skin peel.

Fotona 4D - an innovative laser facelift

FOTONA 4D is an innovative method that combines 4 stages of laser lifting:

I. EndoLifting - internal laser therapy on the mucosa of the oral cavity

II. Frac3 - non-ablative laser photorejuvenation of facial skin

III. PIANO - laser thermolifting of the skin

IV. SupErficial™ - a laser skin peel.

03 — STAGE I - EndoLifting

STAGE I - EndoLifting

This is a laser skin-lifting procedure performed inside the oral cavity. The Er:Yag laser beam, working in the non-ablative SMOOTH mode, treats the internal muscles of the oral cavity, the lateral zygomatic muscles and the upper and lower areas of the mouth. The procedure is unique to the Fotona laser, as it causes no exfoliation of the outer layer of the mucosa - it offers a very high safety profile with a minimal risk of side effects and allows controlled heating of the tissue, which shortens the collagen fibres across their full thickness. The result is increased tissue firmness and elasticity and the filling of the nasolabial folds.RESULTS:increased firmness and elasticity of the cheekssmoothing and filling of nasolabial folds, visibly reduced wrinkles around the mouth and marionette lines.
04 — STAGE II - Frac3 photorejuvenation

STAGE II - Frac3 photorejuvenation

Frac3 - 3D fractionation - is a procedure unique to the Fotona laser platform: non-ablative rejuvenation of deeper skin imperfections at various levels of the skin. Targets of the laser beam, such as dilated capillaries, pigmentation irregularities, freckles or inflammatory lesions, capture the laser light at different levels of the skin, creating selective micro-injuries. This network of micro-injuries stimulates the skin's natural healing processes.RESULTS:complements the effects of EndoLifting, improved skin densityskin rejuvenation, closure of fine capillaries and inflammatory lesionsa more even skin tone, removal of small freckles and of sun-related and post-inflammatory discolouration
05 — STAGE III - PIANO thermolifting

STAGE III - PIANO thermolifting

The next stage of the Fotona 4D laser facelift is the PIANO mode. This deep thermolifting exposes the skin to an ultra-long pulse of the Nd:Yag laser. The skin is heated quickly and safely down to the subcutaneous tissue - to a depth of approx. 6 mm - causing immediate contraction and tightening of the collagen fibres.RESULTS:an immediate increase in skin firmnessimproved skin density and overall skin conditionreduction of so-called "jowls", nasolabial folds and lax cheek skin.
06 — STAGE IV - SupErficial

STAGE IV - SupErficial

The final stage of the Fotona 4D laser facelift is SupErficial - a laser peel, known as cold ablation of the epidermis. The epidermis is vaporised without additional heating, so the full treatment spot can be used and 100% of the skin surface can be treated with the laser. The laser peel, which completes all the previous stages of the treatment, smooths skin irregularities, reduces so-called "enlarged pores" and brightens the skin, restoring its fresh, radiant look.RESULTS:improved texture and smoother skinsmoothing of wrinkles, acne scars and other imperfectionsa brighter, more even skin tone.

08 — Recommended number of treatments

Recommended number of treatments

Usually, one Fotona4D laser facelift treatment brings spectacular results. In exceptional cases, the treatment may be repeated approx. 1-2 months after the first session. The number of treatments is selected by the specialist and depends on the starting condition, the needs of the skin and the patient's expectations. The procedure may be repeated once a year.

09 — How the treatment works

How the treatment works

The treatment requires no prior preparation from the patient. The procedure begins with a detailed review of your medical history and the exclusion of any contraindications. The skin is then cleansed and any make-up removed, and the treatment is carried out. During the treatment the skin is cooled with the dedicated Cryo6 cooling unit, so any discomfort or pain is kept to a minimum. On the day of the treatment the skin may be very red and swollen, but within 1-2 days at most the swelling subsides, and the skin slowly turns slightly brown and then exfoliates. The mucosa inside the oral cavity remains intact.
